The ship started life as a cargo vessel in the southern islands of Sulawesi in 1987. It was later built and refurbished to be a day charter boat in Bali, a process that took several years until 2000 when it did the first charters there. After a thorough refit in 2006 DAMAI INDAH sailed to Thailand and on to Langkawi, Malaysia where she arrived in March 2007 to start a new chapter in her life as a day charter boat.
Guests are fascinated not only by her spaciousness but even more so by her particular romantic charm.
