Built in 1906 by Ramage & Ferguson, Great Britain, to a design of renowned yacht designer G.L. Watson, this outstanding luxury vessel is a 165 foot Edwardian Motor Yacht, named KALIZMA for Richard Burton's children Kate, Liza and Maria when he bought her for Elizabeth Taylor.
When the present owner had purchased KALIZMA more than a decade ago for his personal use he didn’t spare any means or efforts to lovingly restore her and continued to further update her after the completion of her restoration in 2006 to make her unique amongst the classic yachts still afloat. KALIZMA now sails proudly as one of the finest Classic Motor Yachts afloat anywhere in the world.
The yacht has sailed extensively for its owner in the Mediterranean, The Gulf, Indian waters and The Far East and is now available for charter on a weekly basis in the Maldives and, seasonal weather conditions permitting, in the Andaman Sea.
