Pulau Payar Marine Park Diving Cruise
The Pulau Payar Marine Park is situated in the northern part of the Straits of Melaka, 19 nautical miles south of Langkawi and encompasses the islands of Pulau Payar, Pulau Lembu, Pulau Segantang and Pulau Kaca which are surrounded by coral reefs. The marine park teems with a fascinating diversity of marine life and vegetation.

Many endangered species of fishes and marine organisms live within the sanctuary. Measuring 2km long and 1/4 km wide, Pulau Payar is the most popular of the islands as its sheltered waters are ideal for snorkeling, diving and swimming. Among the enchanting dive spots is the "Coral Garden", an area covered with bright, multi-hued soft corals.

There are several sandy beaches on Pulau Payar island for picnics as well as hiking trails for those who wish to explore the island. Just off the beach, one can indulge in the thrilling experience of feeding baby sharks.

As an alternative to the usual day visit to this paradise on a crowded ferry with poor service we offer overnight cruises on a luxury yacht with all the comfort you can expect from us. This begins already during the 4 hours cruise from the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club in Kuah to the Marine Park during which you will be spoiled by a selection of fresh tropical fruits and chilled beverages from the open bar with free flow of mineral water, juices, soft drinks, beer, wines and selected spirits. A light, delicious buffet lunch will be served on arrival and after mooring at one of the visitor’s moorings, far enough away from any crowds.

Refreshed and strengthened you may then venture into the crystal clear water for swimming, snorkeling or diving along the fascinating coral reefs. With our motorised dinghy (inflatable tender) we bring you to places that are accessible only to you. After all others have left the island (there is no accommodation available) you will sit happily in the cockpit of “your” yacht, admire the awesome sunset over the Andaman Sea with a cocktail in your hand, awaiting a sumptuous sea food dinner served by the attentive crew.

For all those who have never spend a night out at sea on a yacht with the tropical sky illuminated by innumerable stars arching directly over their heads, this alone is an unforgettable experience.

The next day, after a relaxed breakfast aboard and another swim along the corals we depart   for the South-Western tip of Langkawi, passing a number of awesome rocky islands covered with lush green before we anchor for a delicious buffet dinner at the island of Pulau Dayang Bunting.

The dinghy will thereafter bring you ashore for a short pleasant jungle walk to Langkawi’s largest fresh water lake that invites you to a refreshing dip. Depending on the time left we may pay another visit to one or the other island on the way back to the Yacht Club where we finish the cruise with a last cocktail aboard.
