Langkawi Geopark Cruises
There are plenty of options for spending one or several days sailing around the Langkawi islands. The cruise could start at Royal Langkawi Yacht Club at 11.00 am and lead past some fascinating islands with steep limestone rocks and a number of secluded beaches to Kilim River /Hole in the Wall with its vast mangrove forest, fish farm, bat cave and the eagle feeding lagoon. It's here that a part of the movie "Anna and the King" with Jodie Foster has been filmed. A tour on Kilim River with a longboat and an experienced nature guide (some extra cost) is an absolute must and very rewarding indeed, especially for the kids who enjoy watching the eagles, detect the bats hanging from the cave ceiling and feed the fishes.
Alternative programmes for the second day could be

to slowly sail back from Kilim River through some stunning island formations with stops for swimming, kayaking, dinghy tours, beach exploration, fishing etc. according to your and your kids wishes. This could be very much a day of relaxation and water fun. The cruise would end again in Kuah bay after watching the famous sunset over the western mountains.
- to start the cruise from Telaga Harbour Marina, sailing South to visit the legendary Lake of the Pregnant Maiden (Pulau Dayang Bunting). After a short walk and a refreshing swim in that largest fresh water lake of Langkawi with opportunities for water games for the kids the ship will sail to a ramatically beautiful and very sheltered anchorage between stunning limestone rocks close on both sides. There is an abundance of small rocky islands and lonely sandy beaches to be explored on the way back later in the day.
On each day light but delicious meals with seafood, chicken and veggies and various snacks, fruits and finger food in between will be served. On the first day you'll be invited to take a late lunch/early dinner at the restaurant of the fish farm which provides a very unique atmosphere. Of course during the whole cruise there will be an open bar with free flow of mineral water, soft drinks, juices, beer, quality wines and selected spirits. If you let us know your preferences for food and beverages a little while in advance we'll try to meet all your desires.
